How to Play Texas Hold’em
Texas Hold’em is one of the most popular poker games played in card rooms across not just Florida, but the world. Each player is dealt two private cards (hole cards), followed by five community cards dealt face-up in three stages:
Players use any combination of their two hole cards and the five community cards to make the best five-card hand. Betting rounds occur before the flop, on the flop, on the turn, and on the river. Players can check, bet, raise, or fold during each round of betting.
Omaha Hi-Lo
Omaha Hold’em is a variation of Texas Hold’em that adds more strategy and action. Each player receives four hole cards and must use exactly two of them, combined with three of the five community cards, to make their best hand. Like Texas Hold’em, betting rounds occur before the flop, on the flop, on the turn, and on the river. Omaha variants can be played as Fixed Limit, Pot Limit, or No Limit. Double the cards means double the fun!
How to Play Pineapple
Pineapple Poker is a refreshing twist (see what we did there?) on traditional Texas Hold’em. Each player is dealt three hole cards instead of two. Before the flop, each player must discard one card face-down, leaving them with two cards to play the hand.
Key rules include:
Pineapple is fast-paced and ideal for players looking for something different in their live poker games lineup.
